If you are interested in creating your own iOS apps with SWIFT, learning the best development practices and furthering your skills, we have just the course for you!
Whether you are an aspiring developer or a seasoned programmer looking to acquire new skills, our Apple Certified Trainers will walk you through the process in a fun, creative and collaborative environment.
The Swift Course is a five day / eight hours per day (40 hours total) learning experience that can be taken either in person at our state of the art Training Center in Palm Desert, CA or taken remotely from the comfort of your own home or office.
Who should take this course
If you are ready to take a deep dive on Apple's Swift development platform, this course is for you!
Aspiring or existing developers, designers, managers or students who want to learn app development using Swift will all benefit from this course.
Attendees should be familiar with general programming concepts, but no prior object-oriented knowledge is required.
Course overview and learning outcomes
This 5-day initiation course is designed around lectures, playground exercises, challenge based group activities and app building.
The course covers Swift fundamentals, Xcode, UI/UX good practices and SwiftUI. The exploration of additional frameworks will help expand students' skills to build great apps.
By the end of this course, you will have the real-world skills necessary to start building robust and safe apps for Apple's most popular platforms - iPhone, iPad...and soon VisionOS!
Technical Pre-Requisites
In Person attendees will need to have a Mac computer with the current macOS, Xcode and the Keynote app. Online Remote attendees will also need to have the Discord app installed on their Mac and an internet connection capable of joining video meetings and streaming.
